I really have enjoyed this phase of our life.  Traveling around the country in our “Home on the Roadz” was a delightful experience.  I LOVE to travel, and via the motorhome I got the opportunity to visit places that I would have never been able go to otherwise.  We traveled trough 13 different states**, staying in State Parks, city parks, Walmart parking lots, and various other places.  It might not sound romantic, but in a different kind of way, it was.

I met a lot of new people, and I always tried to interact with the locals as much as possible wherever I was.  I think that is the part that made it even more interesting to me.  In the beginning, it was a little bit of a challenge since I had always worked, and suddenly I wasn’t.  But, I kept busy and found interesting and fun things to do while Greg was working.  When he was off from work, we really enjoyed the “camping” and traveling experience. 

As for Greg, he enjoyed having me along to keep him company and maintain some type of family life; and for me, I am grateful and appreciative to have had the opportunity to travel with him for the past year.  We had a blast and made a lot of memories.

I am really not looking forward to the next couple of years, but we will get through it.  Sometimes you have to sacrifice to get where you want to go.
